"New" old member from Beautiful B.C. Canada

Greetings All,

I had taken a leave of absence from KawaNOW but after I talked to our regional leader Rick tonight I'm back on the boards again.

My ride is a 2008 Nomad in Candy Fire Red / Metallic Diablo Black. My wife enjoys a 2007 Suzuki C50 and we take every opportunity to get out there to ride our Japanese horses.

I will now look around the forums and familiarize myself with the new website. BTW, I like the new name, Vulcan Bagger is more descriptive since it includes the Vaquero and Voyager.

Cheers,

Elvis

Elvis...!!! Good God man....we have been wondering about you for some time now. It seemed as though you fell off the face of the earth. I am so glad to know you are okay and back with us again....I mean that sincerely!

Rick probably already told you about it, but here is a link to the rally we are having this summer in Canmore, AB. I would sure love to see you and your wife there to enjoy it with us next July! I am just tickled to hear from you and know that everything is okay for you guys...!!

Nice to hear from you Elvis. Last time we rode together was Sept. 4th, 2010 (think Winthrop). I remember the date well since the next day my wife Patricia and I were in an accident that totaled her bike. She now has a 2009 C-50-T. We moved to Phoenix,AZ last October. Both still recovering, both still riding. Hope to see you again, maybe at Canmore?

Good to be back, Kris... Been busy working, studying, riding and working more all this time.

From what I understand, my previous set of Avon Cobras which were mis-matched, caused some concerns to the members. But I rode the hell out of that set to Sturgis and back home last summer and after that I put the exact same set as you have.

Canmore is a beautiful spot, I actually like it more than Banff. As usual we don't know where we're gonna end up going but my wife hinted that she wants to go to Santa Fe, NM this summer.

The weather is sometimes so nice on this side of the border, cannot help but think of going for a spin. Are you riding?

Take care!

E.

Just let this be a lesson to all members here. You can run but you can't hide, we'll always catch up with you.

Kidding of course Elvis. let me say it again, Welcome back!!!
I sure hope you can take a week and join us in Canmore and be a part of the first "In Canada" Vulcan Bagger Assoc. Rally. Go to N.M. next year or early in the spring.

Hey are you going to the bike show? Maybe we can meet up and have a coffee/beer. Or anytime for that matter. We could meet somewhere.
