How to place Avatar

I'm a new member in April. Can someone tell me how to put a pic in my avatar from my browser pic folder. Thanks.

You are going to have to create an account at photobucket.com

Once you have done that you will upload pictures to photobucket. You can then put them on KawaNOW. There is a link at the top of the page on KawaNOW giving instructions on how to do it. If you have further problems. Let us know. Hope this helps.

Got a pic on photobucket. Copy and paste in avatar but wont show up just the nomad words show up. Tried to type in and still no pic. Tried enter and modify profile button. Nothng.

The Avatar has to be a "direct link". You want to paste the link to the direct picture. Make sense? It's not like the Sig pics, where you are pasting an Image link.

Not meaning to hijack but I'm having trouble posting pics from Photobucket in my sig line. I copy and paste the IMG code as I always have but it hasn't been working. It only shows the Photobucket error stating that the pic has been moved or deleted. The only thing I've been able to post is my traveled US map.

Webshots is another online storage site. I use Webshots for my forum pictures and have not had any issues with them once I finally figured out which line to copy and paste between the [IMG][/IMG]'s
