One suggestion. Don't pick on the Harley or Victory members here....they are a very sensitive bunch...go ahead and blast away at the Honda guys...they can take it.:cool::eek:

On a serious note...you joined a great group. New guy buys the beer.
next thing you they will be commenting on sport tourer riders and how they
think they are so much wiser and faster. oh and welcome from Wyoming.

Welcome to the forum! First things.. Get registered and take a riders course. You will learn many, many basic things about your motorcycle. Take the time to PRACTICE what they teach you. Slow turns, manuevering in tight places, curve negotiation... Etc. take the time to learn how to stop your Nomad in an emergency, oh crap mode.... It will save your life!!

Welcome from Ohio. Loved my years on the Nomads, and looked at the HD's before finding my Victory. Most here just poke in jest at those who have left the Kaw family. I wouldn't hesitate to own another Kawasaki, but just didn't find one that I liked as much as my 1600 Nomad when I began my search for something different.

BTW.... my sig line is a true story from this last weekend on the Devils Highway.
Some of the HD riders can be asses for certain. Not sure if they feel better of them self for being that way. Clearly they have deficiencies...

Lets be honest here, Greg. Some non-Harley owners can be dicks as well. Harley doesn't have the exclusive rights to boorish customers. They may have more of them, but they aren't alone.

I do not disagree Scott. There are certainly quite a few on all bike brands -- even Kawasaki owners at times can be asses.

I'm sure this is true Scott, but I personally have never been talked down to by a rider on any other brand than HD

I wasn't necessarily meaning only face-to-face confrontations, there are other ways to be a jerk.
