How much experience do you need for a voyager?

Like many others I rode a HD Duo Glide years ago - 1965 -1967. In 2009 I decided after 42 year I decided to get back in. I bought a 900 Vulcan Classic, dressed it up and rode it for a year about 11,000 miles.
In August of 2010 I bought a Nomad and love it. I tried the Voyager but didn't like the handling (just me I know) but wanted more bike. It is a big step to that 850lb bike but do take the course and if possible something like the Ride Like A Pro course, the DVD's are good but there is nothing like taking the actual course.
