This is Neil's wife. Neil is at home. The tumors were inoperable. We don't know how long he has left. We will keep you posted. He wants his rider friends to remember him when they go riding.

Thanks,
Chris

Karen and I will be thinking of you and hoping for the best. You are a good friend besides a ridding buddy. I'm happy that we had the time to ride though all the states we did. The last ride was the 3 state ride earlier this year. You've owned motorcycles your whole life and I'm glad that you got out as much as you did this year. I spoke to Laura earlier this evening and she was taken back remembering the good rides last year. She wanted me to make sure I passed along her prayers to you and your whole family.

I was lucky enough to meet Neil in August in Vermont. A really great guy. My wife and I had supper with Neil that night and seemed like a fella full of stories. It was a great time. This kind of thing sure makes you think - live everyday to the fullest and enjoy every minute. Oh and give your loved ones a hug.
May your journey be peaceful Neil. Again, prayers to you and your wife. Wishing you all the best...... Rob

I find that very touching and Neil buddy you will definitely be thought of while riding and MORE. Little things you have said over the years or moments we shared never go away - they remain as fresh as today. More than that, as time seems to add more and more people who aren't around anymore I continue to be surprised how indelible they stay in the mind, as if we we spoke just yesterday, as if I could pick up the phone or jot them a text any moment and they'd answer as only they could. Remember you - DAMN RIGHT we'll remember you. Bonnie and I did just that Saturday while riding in Ptown as we passed a spot where we all once pulled over for a chat. Here's the pic you took that day, and another pic of a day we went back with Victor and Rosa - we'll never forget! We can't because you surround us.
Happy horizons Neil.

Damn, I've been off for a while, I'm so very sorry Neil. We were to meet to honor our friendly bet, but mom was in the hospital. My thoughts and prayers to you, your family and friends.

Neil and Family I am so sorry to hear of all this. My thoughts are with you and Neil yes I will think of you when I ride. We never did meet up in Vermont in August, but I am glade others were able to make it and it would seem by all accounts on here one of your last rides was a good one. I have always enjoyed the talks on here about the Habs vs the Bruins and although I never thought I would ever say this, this is for you Buddy: Go Bruins Go!
