Yup. When I heard that the Pakistanis had charged The Doc who had tipped off the Americans as to the whereabouts of Bin Laden (treason was the official charge, I believe) it was a pretty good indication of where they stood on the whole matter of the Taliban. My second thought was that the sooner the U.S. cut off all the foreign aid to Pakistan the better.
Probably can't point too many fingers as I'm sure the Canadian government is probably pumping it's fair share of foreign into there as well.

We have got Bin Laden we have got Hussian what the H are we doing still there? everyone knows when we leave everything will go back like it was before so Bring the Boys home and use them for border patrol and save money on war cost and on immigration cost (stop it) then they would not be bankrupting SS

Isn't it funny how the political class say we can't stop sending aid to Pakistan because it would be so much worse....... They hate us but just in case here is your 3 billion to make us look better. 53 billion more or less in foreign aid, that we have to borrow, to give to folks that hate us. Please tell me where we went wrong .........
