1999 HD Inner Fairing

I need some immediate assistance. I am in the process of purchasing an inner fairing that was taken off a 1999 HD Ultra Classic.

I wanted to know if this inner fairing will fit on outer fairing from 1999 Ultra Classic? Or, are there more options available for this inner fairing.

I will not complete the sale until I get some feedback from some of the subject matter experts.

The inner and the outer are both the same year, so they will fit without any problems.

The question I am asking is whether the inner and outer fairing have to be the same year. All i am purchasing is the inner fairing.

I need to know if I will have to find a specific outer fairing to fit the inner fairing that came off a 1999 Ultra Classic.

Was not sure what the question was. The '96 to 2007 fairings are basically unchanged and should be interchangeable. I have an '04 outer with an '06 inner and there are no issues. Some of the newer inner fairings have additional cable routing holes, but nothing changed in the shape. Accessories list as fitting the '96 and newer. The biggest visible difference in the older (pre '96 fairings) is the 5 bolt windshield mount compared to the 3 bolt on the '96 and newer models.
