I just made reservations at the Day's Inn for Wed and Thurs nights....I am riding up from teh Charlotte, NC area, leaving on Tuesday morning, and likely taking until sometime Wed to get there..
I am taking I 77 up to the NC/VA border area (around Fancy Gap, VA), and then onto the Blue Ridge Parkway for the rest of the way..Anyone going part or all of that route, if you want another rider in your group, let me know, please...

I waited this long because I was leery of riding in the rain...the ten day forecast has the weather clear on the days I plan to travel...If it does turn out to look like rain next week, I will just come in the car..too old and "frail" to rough it...

Can't wait to meet more folks..Only have met Ross (Trosco) adn Dixie Dick so far..
