Everything is considered spelled wrong

Hi
Since I was in Spain the last three week and still after coming home,
whenever I type here on the web site { I haven't checked other forums yet} Almost every word is underlined with a red sqiggly line as though the spelling was wrong. Aside from the odd spelling mistake it's all spelled correctly. It shows up correctly on the final posting but while I'm typing it looks to be spelled wrong. Can someone help as to what has been changed so this can be corrected??

Oh and one more thing. Have we changed the format in which our type is showing up? My type font seems to be a lot smaller than what it use to be.

Thx
rickyboy

My guess is it is on your side, the default font and other settings on the computer got changed somehow. I'm using three different computers, two different operating systems, and three different browsers, yeah I know why can't I have something standardized, and everything looks the same on them. I found one of my word processing programs not too long ago had switched to a different language for spell checking, really weird. Same thing can happen to the browsers. Haven't had any recent posts act strange either. It will be interesting to know what you ultimately find caused the problem.

Delete your cookies, etc. and it will probably correct the problem.

Probably something on your end like Mark said. I recently upgraded to Google chrome and now instead of having the the forum spell check (there is no more box), it underlines the misspelled words in squiggly red as I type. Right click on them and the correct spelling is displayed.

Like already stated, not a forum issue, and nothing has recently changed on this end.

What browser/OS are you using?

Well,..........I cleared history/cookies but by the looks of what I'm seeing right now, it didn't help my issue. It has "underlined" everything to this point.

Is this on a laptop you took on your trip and surfed from over there? Try typing in Spanish. No that is not a joke, maybe somehow your browser got set to spell check in another language.

Yes it is a laptop that I took over with me, and surfed there with.
That is exactly what I thought and was referring to when I wrote the orig. post Norm. How the hell do I check that or change it back. I mean if it surfs and thinks it's Spanish there. Why doesn't the laptop think or know I'm back in Canada??

Thanks to everyone....fixed it !!

OK !!! I fixed it !!! In our box where we type our msg's or posts,....if I highlight the "misspelled word and write click it as if checking for the correct spelling, {like someone suggested} ....you will see "languages" listed, second from the bottom of the listing. Click on Languages and change to the language you want the spell checker to read.
Does that make sense?? Anyway it was set to Spanish so I changed it back to English {USA}... Not sure how it got changed though.

As a side bar here ....it was funny when I was on the cruise ship and going for dinner in one of the dinning rooms one evening. The woman ahead of us was asked by the waitress if she wanted English menus. The woman responded with No, no !!!! American please!! ....Is it just me?? I thought that was hilarious.

The waitress should have given her a McDonalds menu.
