Oil leak

Hello, the bike has 117k and started to develop a slow leak apparently coming from the shifter. Has anyone had a situation like this and what can be done?.

It looks like the oil seal in the photo has failed and will need to be replaced.

The Youtube video shows how its done on a Honda but the Nomad will be similar.

Check out its gasket properly might be need to fix it up. Oil leakage happens either because of engine oil filter issues or gaskets.

Guys, thank you for leading me in the right direction. I need that oil seal part#. The dealer tried to get it and they got the wrong one and now they can figure out the one I need. Anyone went through this already and knows the part #?.

Don't know if that was the part. I just left it with them aver an hour ago. He was going to chat with a service tech. This is for the voyager.

The part# for the shifter that connects to the shift linkage it's #9251.

What diagram is it on on the parts fiche ?

Oil leakage can have several reasons which can be tackle but rider must know the reason first. Might be loose gasket or blocked engine can trouble.
