I have not heard that mentioned. How many miles ? How much brake pad material is left ?
Does it make the noise with the front wheel off the ground and the brake not applied ? Spin the wheel and listen where the noise is coming from. |

I had the 2010 Voyager ABS and never had any issues with the brakes.

I'd check that front tire...when they cup out..or start separating the tread from the carcass they make odd noises and the handling gets weird..(sometimes it's hard to find tread separation at first glance)

Are the pads any good, or are you metal on metal, and check if you have a stone caught in the caliper.

I have read on this form where others have had similar complaints. Some were able to get the dealers to order from the factory some small shims to stabilize the front brake or pads. I don't know which. Good luck. Let us know what you find.

Not quite sure what you mean by "roar", but mine has made a loud "woooo" sound and vibrated the front end, mostly during very normal braking. I pulled the pads and sanded the glaze off them. No more noise. After a few thousand miles, it started again, and i pulled them and sanded again. i think the stock brake pads are garbage, and will be replacing them well before their life is over.

"I think the stock brake pads are garbage, and will be replacing them well before their life is over".
I think the general consensus is that the OEM brake pads, although expensive, work well and last the longest. Others who have tried EBC and Sixity may disagree ? |

I have purchased the pads off EBay for a number of bikes, including my voyager, at around $35 delivered for a full set, you can't go wrong, and I have never ever had a problem with noise or any other issue with them.
