I missed it, dang

Spring, I missed it. It was last week. Now it's gone. I need to learn to savor the day when it is here.

A SPRING SNOW STORM STRETCHING FROM CENTRAL UTAH INTO SOUTHERN IDAHO WILL BRING 3 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW TO THE LOWER SNAKE RIVER PLAIN TONIGHT... INCLUDING THE POCATELLO AND CHUBBUCK AREA. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS RAIN THIS MORNING... BUT ON WEDNESDAY EVENING WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW AS THE TEMPERATURE TURNS COLDER. THE SLOW MOVING NATURE OF THE STORM WILL MEAN A CONTINUOUS SNOWFALL FOR SEVERAL HOURS. HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE ON THE BENCHES SURROUNDING POCATELLO AND CHUBBUCK. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL FLUCTUATE IN ELEVATIONS RANGING FROM 4300 FEET TO 4800 FEET TONIGHT... MAKING IT NEARLY ALL RAIN FOR THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

You guessed, I live on one of those benches around Pocatello. Just this weekend I was thinking it may be time to remove the snow blower and mount the mower deck on the lawn tractor.

Geeze, I know it's headed my way but I hope it's only rain. I took the blade off the ATV last weekend so I could bring the bike home.

I usually don't put the snowblower or snowshovels away until I need to use the lawnmower. Ya never what'll happen with the weather!

Reminds me, I need to mow the lawn sometime this weekend - between rides, you know.

Supposed to be 79 on Saturday.

Snow? What the blue-blazes is that?

It's snowing right now here in Utah. It's not sticking to the ground though. That's nice.

Make sure you take advantage of this weekend. It's supposed to be nice and warm. 65'sh.

I live in St. George Utah which has weather similar to Las Vegas. It was in the high 70's and low 80's last week and it snowed today for about 30 minutes. Nothing serious and no ground cover but holy crap I can't think of the last time it snowed in April here. Suppose to be back in the 80's this weekend just in time for my brother to arrive for a ride. All this snow must have something to do with global warming.

It rained and snowed here all day long. More on tap for tonight. Supposed to be nice this weekend but I have door trim to put up this weekend. Maybe I can get a ride in on Sunday.

Snow's a real bummer. I cut my grass and took a short ride on Sunday. Still too cold to ride to work in the am. Hang in there.
