I'm really enjoying it. It is very quick and the handling is just terrific. Had a lot of fun in Estes on that Canyon blast route and Talihina would have been good too (except for the 15 ft visibility). If you like to push your limits, this is definitely a bike that will help you do that.
Riding position is fairly comfortable and upright, but I added some handlebar riser blocks to improve a bit and had the seat reworked to eliminate some of the downward slope. It will still have a slight tuck in the knees - nothing too drastic, but definitely not a cruiser position.
I also bought a radar detector. The ride is so smooth you won't realize how fast you are going.

Glad your back Mike. Seems many old Nomad riders are going with an Ultra or a Wing.

I am still riding and enjoying my 06 Nomad. Rode 50 miles today to the Dr. in 70 degree beautiful weather.

By the way, I have not had a boss or worked a lick since 2005, and haven't worked full time since 1999. I adapted to retirement quickly.

Retirement sucks.
Get up when you want, go to bed when you want, do what you want when you want.
Money coming each month without working,Boring

Take my advice and find another job before you go stir crazy
