Lost a Friend

Yesterday a friend from Co. was hit by a car on his bike,, Jay was killed,, his wife Stacy is in a Coma... They have kids as well.. They did a collection of X Mas Baskets for the crew mate of another friend on The Sabrehood forums.. and the family helped pack and ship to IRAQ....They made cookies and did tons of stuff for our guys, They are VERY Nice people.. Sad day... Prayers out to the Walker family!!!Thanks!Rich

Damn. So sorry to hear that. It was a good day for riding yesterday in Colorado but I had not heard about this. I have a brother-in-law in the hospital (kidney stones with complications) just off that highway in Parker. Best of all my thoughts to his wife for a speedy recovery but is going to be tough no matter how it goes, and for the kids...

Man, I can't believe this. My prayers go out to the family. I hope that Stacy recovers. I can't imagine losing both parents.

I saw this in the paper earlier today. I had no idea it was someone one of us knows.
Prayers are going up for the family, especially for the wife. Sure would like to see her healed.

Rich,
I'll be praying as well. As a police and fire chaplain, I had four calls the week before Christmas with one victim passing away Christmas day. It seems worse when things like this happen around the holidays.

Like you all said LIVE each day,, to the fullest!! ,you never know when your time is up...Really sucks when you see good people die young!! Last word Stacy is Stable..They are doing what they can to keep the swelling down in her Brain....Hell of a way to start the new year....
