How big is our hole?

Anybody who can answer this question should get some kinda prize. How big is the valve stem hole in the vulcan 1600 wheel? I want to replace my straight valve stems with some goosenecks. It turns out there are valve stems for 8mm holes and 11.something size holes. You'd think this would be standardized.

After checking auto part stores for these valve stem and not being able to get them I ended up getting them from the Kawi dealer....so I guess I didnt need to know what size. I would say the 8mm. At our shop we have two different size valve stem for cars which I would assume would be the 8mm and 11mm.With that being said I know it would be the small one we have that would fit my Nomad.,,,,but again we know what assume can do to us!!

Bill, I might have a spare right angle valve laying around. Let me see if I can find it and measure it for you.

Found it - I'd say 8mm would be correct.

Yep, it's the actual Kawasaki part.
