Say It Ain't So

After riding Nomads and MeanStreaks for well over a decade, I wore a shirt yesterday that I honestly thought I'd never wear.

Yep, I wore a HOG shirt.

It came with the bike @ no charge.

I'm sittin in the same boat as you are my friend ! I rode nothing but Kawi's since I started riding over ten years ago . When I had my accident I decided that the Vaquero was to much of a bike for me to handle weight wise . I ended up taking a friends 13 RK out for a rip one day and found it much easier to handle . So long story short , I went out and found a 2010 RK with only 13000 km on it . When I got it home after the deal was done , there was a gift laying on the bench from my wife . 2 long sleeve HD shirts and a guardian bell ... Who would have thought ! I have always been a fan of the RK and always said " one day " . I'm going to miss the Vaquero but I do love my RK . Just like you I have never had anything HD related until now . Since purchasing it in June I've already logged close to 5000 km on it .

Promised my wife I wouldn't get caught up in the Harley thing . Whatever that means !!

Anyway , hope your enjoying the new RK and don't ware out the new shirt !

Oh they charged you all right. They just added in with price of the bike so you wouldn't notice.

I still wear one of my Vaquero sweatshirts when I ride my Indian. I still love and miss some aspects of that Vaq, 100,031 miles, er, smiles in 5 years I may never beat that.

They give you shirts for when you cry after you realize what you've done, you can dry the eyes with it. They make good grease rags too for when you work on it.

Congratulations on the bike, they are very nice riding bikes. When I ride my neighbours Road King it feels so light compared to the Nomad I think I'm on a sportbike.
