Vaquero windshield

What size is the “Stock” shield ? The one I have is 5” at the tallest part ( center) Need to go just a couple of inches taller, to improve buffeting and music/ speaker quality. The earplug thing didn’t work too well

I believe you have the stock shield, is it opaque Black? then that would be it. I went to home depot and got a small Sheet of Plexiglass ( NOT ACRYLIC) and some Jig saw Plexi Blades and cut my own. Just until my other shield got delivered. I used the stock in front of it to cover the fairing parts that show. The screws are long enough. and it made it stronger. Not bad for 20 bucks. A bit flimsy, but hey it was 20 bucks. and in the shape I wanted. A month later my Clearview shield came and I never looked back. Clearview shields are X2 thicker and more scratch resistant. Still have it in the garage but to ship it would be the cost of the Plexiglass.

I have had 2 of their shields with the flip on top. Good quality shields at a good price.
