Waving Chucksters Lowers

I just got off the phone with Chuckster a short while ago.
I purchased his Nomad Lowers.

He seemed super nice. Said he would get them in the mail tomorrow.

After reading about other people’s experience with the oversized lowers, I am very excited to give them a try.

I can hardly wait to try them out. I have fallen head over heels for my new Nomad. Absolutely love it. When I’m not on it, I’m wishing that I was.

My only complaint is a little more helmet buffeting than I really care for. I’m hoping Chuckster can help me get that straightened out.

Greetings,

Congratulations and keep on enjoying that Nomad. Joe is a great guy and those lowers will probably help. How tall are you? (Yeah, you'd have to be long in the torso to sit above the stock windshield on a Nomad, but just curious...)

Ride safe,
Smokier

Good morning Kyle ! If you get a chance , take your bike out for a ride . Now , feel just how much wind is coming up around the tank area . If you place your hand beside the tank ( if your comfortable with that ) you can feel just how much wind comes up through there causing a lot of buffeting . When you add your lowers you will find that more than 80% of that " wind " is no gone . It definitely makes a huge difference . Your going to love it .

I rode for many years without them and finally decided to give them a try on my current ride . I'll never ride without them again ! I usually ride with a half helmet ( unless I do long trips or suspect rain ) and it helped a lot .

Glad to hear your enjoying your new ride !

ridefree, you are right. There is a lot of air coming up around the tank!
I just got the new Lowers installed, but will have to wait until my wife gets home to try them out.

She might not like it if I took our toddler for a motorcycle ride!

It's definitely going to be a better ride now . Must be driving you completely nuts having to wait for the better half to arrive to test them !! ( Just teasing ) I wasn't all that sure with this add on but after my first ride I said " Worth every penny "

Enjoy your ride !!

Hey Kyle , was curious to know how you made out with the new lowers after your first ride with them . Others on the forum may want a review of them as well . Maybe a pic too .

Ridefree,

The lowers have worked out great! They fit like a glove, and they look pretty good too for something “oversized.”

I am very pleased with them, I rode 180 miles yesterday, and with my new lowers and ultimate seat, I had a comfortable ride, and no headaches.

I’m loving my old Nomad! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Lowers!

If you can see this Chuckster, thank you! You have a great product!
