Chrome guards over front of saddlebags on voyager

Same here SR, 5'-9'± and 62. I tried that approach and I just don't like putting all my weight plus the bike on that small bolt as well as the side stand. I also tried the right side mount, didn't like that neither.
I find getting on is no problem at all, momentum carries the right leg over the backrest without a glitch, getting off is where I hit the saddlebags if I wasn't careful..........Mike
