Stupid Question

I have a real stupid question. I have a Kriss headlight modulator I want to install on my 2007 Nomad 1600. I installed one on my previous bike ( Honda Shadow Aero ) very easily and quickly. On the Nomad, I am having trouble unplugging the plug from the headlight bulb. What is the correct way to remove the plug. I know it's probably simple. That's why I call it a stupid question. Thanks for your help.

They are just tight. pull with your fingers with a little side to side motion and it will come apart.
There should be two small lips that will give you some leverage.
There's no such thing as a stupid question , only stupid answers.

I'm sorry. I guess my real question should be, how do you remove the bulb from the housing ? That's my problem.

You shouldn't have to remove the bulb to install a modulator.

I've been wanting to get a headlight modulator for a while now. Which model did you get for your 2007 Nomad? I assume it's the same for the 2005?

I just replaced the head lamp. It was a very tight fit...just pull hard. I used a screw driver to wedge them apart. I like modulators. Have one on my aero, but not on the Nomad, although the Nomad has the light bar with H3's. I may still consider the modulator on the Nomad. Buck

I wonder, has or does anyone modulate all three lights.That would get cages attention.

USDOT regs only authorizes the modulation of the motorcycle headlight.

Modulating the other lights will get the LEO's attention and get you a ticket for improper lighting equipment or worse operating as an unauthorized emergency vehicle.
