Chrome Lowers?

I had asked about them earlier in the year and somebody told me that you could get them from HD . . . and here is the link to that thread.

Chrome Lowers?

You can save yourself some $$.
Buy some good paint striper and strip the coating from the legs. Use some Med. sandpaper ( i like the pads). Get all the main marks sanded down. Then use a fine sandpaper. When u are satisfied with the finish ,go to a hardware store and get some aluminium buffing compond, 4" buffing well. Get your drill and a beer and go to polishing. The hard part is finished, it buffs out real easy and looks like chrome.
Good Luck

Ummm, he's not talking about the lower forks. He means those plexiglas triangle things sticking out from the fork legs. ;)

Chrome Lowers?

I've got a buddy who's got some extra diamond plated aluminum that I was considering making some out of....but I decided against it because I have the larger lowers and I like being able to see through the clear plexiglass.
