Wind Behind The Shield??

I have the stock 1600 nomad shield adjusted to the middle position with Chucksters larger lowers and I'm still getting this "upwind" behind the shield. Would adjusting the the inner shield cure that??

Is the inner shield adjusted right down on the head light bucket?

I have mine set to the lowest setting (all the way down to the lite bucket), I removed the inner shield and have the stock lowers. I don't get any updraft at all.

The only wind I get behind my shield comes out the back of my pants after a good meal.

I had a low pressure area behind the shield on my stock. When it got pitted real bad, i got a Clearview replacement with the recurve and a vent. It worked like magic. There are also add on recurve slats for stock windshields but I cant recall the name of them.

You must be a real tall guy. I too removed the inner shield and set the outter down in a face cloth to get it real close to the head lamp bucket. Once it was snug I pulled out the face cloth. I think you want to close the inner shield closer to the head lamp.

I bought a new windshield from 7JUROCK. I got it 2 inches wider and 4inches taller than the original one and could not be happier. Stopped the wind issues including the buffeting that my wife was getting. I also have the stock lowers.

No, I've never had the pleasure of meeting you. I live outside Denver, but I grew up in NYC. Never made to New Hampshire, but I have been in the crown of your avatar a couple of times

There's a lot of wind behind Brad's shield, every time he opens his mouth.
