So how long do you suppose before they tell us how much the new voyagers will cost? I called a dealer in fargo and he said the boss just got back from a show and they didn't tell them either. He told me if you got the internet you will find out just as fast as we do on how much they will cost. Ha!

I called a dealer in Atlanta; he said they weren't releasing the Voyager yet- got a glitch or two to work out. I asked the MSRP, and he said the mfg had not released pricing yet, either.
He was told January before they would recieve any.

I also talked with a dealer this morning and he know very little about pricing of the 1700 line.
He did say that his district man was guessing that the Voyager would be in the same price range as the Yamaha Venture. ( $17 to $18k ).

The Voyager would be a steal at even $18,999. That's the range I was thinking of, too. Less would be great, but let's be realistic. You have to assume the Nomad MSRP will rise as well.

Metro Motorsports is a long way from where I'm at. Post it here when you have a firm date and I'll make the ride across the Valley to check it out.

I've contacted my dealer, Kawasaki Superstore Ahwatukee and asked them to let me know when they'll have one on the floor and the MSRP.

Again There appears to be a big variation in stories and what people have been told. But my dealer told me that Prices should be posted to the website by monday night. Who knows...... but that's what he said. Just passing it along.

I'm guessing the price will be between $17,499 and $18,999 for the new Voyager.

That Metro group are the biggest phonies in the valley, I wouldn't beleive a word that kid said, If he told you that yesterday he prolly doen't even work there today, that place has the biggest turn over in employees. sorry I had to get that off my chest.

I say the 1700 prices will be surprisingly low, Nomad will be up 0-$500, the Voyager will be $14,500-$15,500, it was $12000 when it was discontinued in 03. When the new KLR came out last year the price went up $150. I paid less OTD for my 08 than I did for my 06.

And remember all the dealers will over and sell only half of what they do order, then the prices will drop, remember the new concourse and the VN2000?

Who ever gets closest to the list prices should get nothing. Someone with athority should start a poll??

My guess is that they are checking out what the market will bear. In doing so; they will look at various blog sites; magazines; and other such sources for the opinions of those that might be interested. If they discover there is not much of a market at certain price levels they will try to adjust the price within profitability range to meet the market's price demand.

So... given that... I think it should price at around $7,500

Just trying to keep the price low in case "they" read this -- that's all.

I say 15,849 so that it is sufficiently below 16k to not be rounded off
