Cobra Fi2000 PowerPro

So, anyone tried this new Processor? Looks interesting. I still prefer to fiddle with my "old school" Cobra but this one looks good for the set it and leave it set!

I think at the price there isn't going to be a lot of people trying it. I would like to hear some results from users but don't expect any. If it does what it says it would be a great unit.

The price really isn't that bad when you compare it to a PcV with dyno tuning. It actually comes out a little cheaper. Now if you tune yourself then it's about $100-$125 more than just getting a PcV. I'm waiting to see some feed back for the 1700 motor. It gets really good reviews from M109 owners.Time will tell how it does on Kawasaki's. It does look very promising if it works as designed.

i will probably put one on my new stratoliner s. it runs perfect the way it came, but i think the power pro will make it run exactly perfect. i'm just waiting for more reviews. i fully understand how it works. if it does what it is designed to do it will revolutionize fuel injection tuning. since i am planning on a few changes like intake and exaust, it will compensate and adjust the mixture automatically. it is really a simple idea and yet a complex device. well worth the money to have an on board dyno.

At $500? Is it worth it? I don't know but it does seem to fit the bill.

I have a question for anyone who can answer it. Can this unit detect knock and adjust accordingly to protect the motor?

the way it works, it should eliminate pinging. pinging will cause a slight loss of power. the device should sense that and richen the mixture. it has to be very sensitive to be able to monitor crankshaft acceleration on each power stroke. it probably has a degree of rotation or less to do it against the drive train damper. thats whats so amazing about it.
