I don't know anything about the company other than is what on their web site.

Audiovox CCS100 cruise control is available again

Hey, nice find. Although they are about 6x what I spent for my CCS100, they are still an affordable way to have a honest-to-gosh electronic cruise control on your motorcycle. The vendor goes to great lengths to make it known that this is not a simple plug and play job. However, it looks and sounds worse than it really is. If a person can follow plainly written instructions, with pictures from Gadget's site, this is not that difficult to do. It is time consuming, but not rocket science. I have to say the cruise control I installed two years ago now is a great add-on to my bike.

I have had mine on for about 16months with know trouble and very satisfied so far.

Its good to see that they are available again, even though it more money than some of us paid originally. I think its still pretty good considering you can pay that much or more for just a throttle lock.
Ive had mine installed for a couple of years now, and its worked well. It took a bit of finessing in the beginning trying different settings, but overall its a pretty good product.

Audiovox CCS100 cruise control is available again

I never could get mine to work consistently, especially over 65 mph....I just use my vista cruise for the time being. I need to redo the entire installation. Originally installed per gadget's instructions except I fashioned a different vacuum canister due to the lack of space behind the side cover. I copied someone's idea from here....mounted in front of and below the radiator.

I suppose I could have purchased a POS..... :'(

Anyway, nice find and thanks for the link!

Audiovox CCS100 cruise control is available again

I have installed 4 of the Audiovox cruise control units and 1 of the non vacuum Rostra cruise controls. The installation is nearly identical but I prefer the Rostra unit because it has an electric servo and does not require any vacuum to operate.

What are your switch settings for the non-vacuum unit? In reading the manual it does not list a 2 cylinder as an option. Just curious....

Audiovox CCS100 cruise control is available again

The Rostra unit I installed was on a 2010 Kawasaki Concours 1400.
The actuator uses 12 DIP switches to configure it. They are grouped by function; see installation manual for details on the various functions and choices. For the C-14 I used the following settings:

OFF OFF ON ON ON ON OFF OFF OFF ON ON OFF

Mine works perfect up to about 65-70mph. If I want to lock it in at a higher speed It loses a few mph. If I want it to hold at say 80mph I'll have to set the cruise at about 90 and it will drop over a bit, and hold around 80mph.
