New Nomad rider on Lake Belton in TX
I sold my 03 vulcan classic few years ago to facilitate a move and have been wanting another bike since the gentleman drove it away. I stumbled upon an 01 Nomad with 48k on it along with quite a few extras. There is evidence on the engine guard and clutch fluid reservoir of it being laid over but it rides well and I have put over 3k on it since purchase. I lurked around on here but needed to finally join since i don't get to see the awesome pictures in the threads without being a member. Now to figure out if I want the forward controls or just highway pegs and move the brake pedal and floorboard away from the chassis...damn hypercharger.

Welcome from Oklahoma and to the South Central Region of the forum. I'd ditch the hypercharge and go with something like Chucksters intake.

Welcome from the Great White North, where it's -20 degrees today and I have to sit on my Nomad in the garage with a snowsuit on just to dream of riding weather!
BTW, I had the same issue with the hyper charger on my 2000 nomad. I replaced it with a Baron's Big Air Kit. It fixed the clearance problem, and feel the bike runs better than with the hyper charger.
