Hi there, folks!

Well, after lurking around these pages for many weeks and months, I thought I'd finally make the right move and officially join this most excellent forum of Nomad enthusiasts. My name's Dave, and I first want to thank you all for sharing your many years of experience with this remarkable bike.

My wife and I purchased our new '08 Nomad this spring, and have been enjoying every chance we can get to ride. Summers out here on the East Coast can be short, but the riding and scenery is fantastic. The autumn rides here are especially spectacular. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to parking her for the winter, but there's time for a few more rides yet.

And as for the Nomad...what a great machine - especially 2-up, which is 80-90% of my riding! I researched this purchase TO DEATH (just ask my wife ;))before opting for the Nomad, and I'm not disappointed in the least. The Yamaha Tour Deluxe was a close second, but after riding the Nomad my choice became obvious.

Anyway, I don't want to ramble too much being this is my first post. Thanks for having me!

Dave
