Not this year but I went last year. Lot's to see and do. A cold front dropped the day before we left home and the ride all the way to Daytona was a high of 34 with high winds. I almost froze to death. Still had fun.

dc, most of us floridians will make it 2 or 3 times. I am going down on Sat with my Southern Cruisers Chapter from Jax FL for a meet and greet and eat with all the other chapter members. We'll probably hit down town for a couple hours after that for patches and tshirt then get out be the crazy begins. Monday I and a friend are going down to spend the day at the Speedway doing the test rides then Wens or Thurs a group of us will just go down and hang out. Probably some of us from FL will do a meetup on one of the days. Check the SENR section and get the details and join in!!!

I like to get down there to see it oneday, it looks like a lot of stuff going on . My brother inlaw gets me Tshirts from Bruce Rossmeyers when he is there. My bike has been there with the original owner, so I'll just have to make the time for it one of these days.

I will be over there at some point. I am doing the Legends SS1000 out of Jax on Thursday, March 5 with Mike and Jim, then probably heading down to Daytona on Friday for a little bit. I may go over the first weekend with the wife.

Dragonchaser, send me a PM and I'll give you my cell number and maybe we can hook up.

I like that; Most of us Floridians...I have an apointment at the DMV in Deland Fri morning to renew my DL. I have FL plates and am officially a FL resident. 30+ years in Boca Raton. Just been up here in NC most of the time for the last year or so. Employment or lack of it, related. I can't wait to be able to stay in FL again. Hopefully soon.

FYI...you will need an official copy of your birth certificate to get your DL renewed. Our deputy from school had to get one, even with all his government issued ID and such.

Yes, but taking a week off and 5K miles of gas cost a lot more.

I wouldn't Uhaul the bike anyways. I love riding too much. I wish I could make it down there on an annual bases.

Duh... ::)

I wish! One day. My wife is going through Law School and hope to get into an MBA program out here. When that is done and we are millions in debt, than we'll consider moving south.

Lots of eye candy in Daytona. I get myself in trouble all the time. Now I wear my sun glasses and she can't tell where I'm looking.
