Idaho Jack Adapter

The best, the safest, the easiest way to get your 1500 or 1600 cc Vulcan in the air on a standard MC jack. (2009 and newer does not need one ) I sold these on E-Bay for $65 with shipping. Here I sell them for $45 plus $15 shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. There are copies on E-Bay but mine is the original and the best. Just ask my hundreds of satisfied customers. contact me at hbsmalley@aol.com

BD once told me Bud's jack adapter cured his incontinence! Seriously, buy one, you won't be sorry! It's the best money you'll ever spend.

I agree. It would still be a bargain at twice the price.

I appreciate the kudos although I'm not sure about the 'incontinence' thing.

You seem to pretty handy with a welder, why not build bike trailer hitches?

BTW, how do guys with 09 and newer jack their bikes up?

You can jack up a 1700 Vulcan with a motorcycle jack and no need for an adapter as the engine does not protrude below the frame rails as it does on a 1500/1600.

What you have to look for is a motorcycle jack that has long lifting rails as the 1700 frame is wider apart where the jack goes than a 1500/ 1600. I had to extend the lifting rails on my motorcycle jack by 2 inches to catch the frame rails on my Voyager.

When I bought my Nomad, Idaho's adapter was the 3rd thing I bought for it. The first 2 were oil and a filter. He even includes yellow caution tape to wrap around the handlebars to ensure you don't try to take off on the bike with the adapter still attached. He pretty much thought of everything. Seriously, you won't be sorry for purchasing one.

Scott thought a "jack adapter" was something you plugged into your cigarette lighter

Can anyone tell me the specs on this adapter? Basically just the tube size and thickness? And has anyone had any problems with it bending or crushing from the weight?

Don't know the Specs. Do know that there is no bending or crushing going on. It just plain works and doesn't weight a ton.
