Army Son's Next Duty Station

My Son who has been stationed in Hawaii for the last three years is coming to Fort Campbell, Kentucky in Sept/Oct. That's 2-1/2 hours from here.

Only thing not sure of yet is if he will be assigned to the hospital or the CASH (something like MASH) unit. If he is in the Cash unit he can be deployed to Iraq or whereever. :-/
But we'll take one day at a time for now....he'll be at For Campbell for a while before he would be deployed anyway.
Here's an older pic (but one of my favorites) of my son:

Fingers crossed he dosn't have to go out there, I know if hes anything like my son he will be wanting to go out there. My son has been based in Germany for the last 3 years and is waiting for his next posting which is supposed to be in Dorset which is about 1hour 30 mins away . He keeps telling me thats what we are trained for it.

iannicky - yeah he has already said to me - if he gets deployed it's no biggie - talking about the hazard duty pay.

suenicco - He's taken several rides with us. Came home on leave from Hawaii a couple of years ago...flew in hopped on the bike next day and went with us on a bike trip to Canada. It was so nice having our son along with us.

Youll still have time to get a few rides in when he gets back home.

Good for you! I was an Air Force guy stationed at Fort Campbell back in the 80's for 2 years.

Wait until word gets around Fort Campbell that his momma rides a big bad Nomad. Glad to hear he is not yet getting hazardous duty pay.
