Question Rear signals

Looking out the window, more snow, so got me thinking about riding season coming up. Am I the only one who gets complaints about rear signal visibility especially when sun is shining on chrome pcs between hard bag and bike. I have changed to led , and I think they are an improvement. Anyone got some neat looking additional units on the back end. Thanks

Hey Flexible, I mounted a set of LED light strips along the saddlebag support rails. This puts the lights in the space between the fender and the saddlebags. The lights are wired into the brake circuit. It works great and adds the extra lights when the brakes are applied. I picked the lights up from AutoZone parts store. They come in various lengths. I believe mine are 12" strips. I really like the added safety and it looks good. Hope this helps.

Ditto. Mine are red. The prev owner installed them on my bike, but i liked them so much that i didn't remove them. my wife has followed me in our cager several times and said it's a vast improvement over previous bikes I've owned and were stock

I don't know how/if this would work with your LED's....but Kuryakyn makes a plug_n_play run/turn/brake kit called the Triple Whammy. It instantly turns your rear turn signals into running and brake lights as well as being turn signals. It comes with new red lenses for your signal lights. It is a module that simply plugs in under your seat. It will take you longer to remove the seat than to install the module. It works great!

This what you mean? Since this picture there have been one red and one amber 2 1/4 inch leds added to the rear of the saddlebags, just above the bottom rail, the amber is turn and the red are brake only. if you look closely at the top two light, you will see another under each light, those are amber, at the time the picture was taken they weren't fully hooked up, but they are running light on low led and turn indicators on high led.
