Heated buns, Heated hands!

Installed seat warmer on my oem seat that I had on the shelf and after felling the comfort of having warm buns I started looking into getting my fingers warm as well. Heated gloves as you all know are not cheap and after giving up on that idea I remembers another option that I thought about a couple years ago. This is what I found:

I am in the process of installing these on my oem handlebars and it is a chore. I will do a write up once I am done.

What seat warmer did you install, was it just a plug in type pad or a full install.

I was doing a little write up on this and I lost it three times and so I just post the short post above. I will try again to explain what I did,
At work we had replaced the heated seat cushion from an end loader. My co-worker said he was going to throw away the old cushion and asked me if I wanted the heating element. Since there has been talk of heated seats on here recently I thought I would take it and see what I could come up with. I had the oem seat on the shelf at home and so took the staples out and pulled the cover back. the element fit nicely under the cover and I routed the wire come out the bottom. The element is similar to this one:

I have to turn it on and off since it does get toasty warm. Not sure yet if I will switch it over to my Mustang seat yet.
