Hoppy converter
I saw a Hopkins converter at Wal-Mart for around $10.00. Surely this isn't the same as the Hoppy converter referred to on this site recommened for wiring for a trailer?

Hoppy converter
it sure isn't likely... The correct converter 'induces the current, which isolates the bike wiring and most importantly the bike charging system from a trailer dead short. This is very desirable.
And it converts USA type illumination to that of EURO which these bikes are. This page will set up right up.. http://www.gadgetjq.com/trailer.htm
