What pressure in Metzeler 880s?

Moin folks!

Is winter almost over here in New England?? I am getting extremely leary of it!! Been hybernating for the past 4 months :(

Will pick up the Nad today after having my dealer install a set of ME880s and was wondering what pressure those who run those tires on their VN1600 you're keeping them at. I'm sure it's a bit different than the Brickstones?

I run 40 front/42 rear in mine.

Don't ride nawth.... You won't like it much. Last night was -4 and the night before was -8.

I'ld go with Jacks psi's.. I hope the rear swing arm was serviced...

CJ - surgery went well but with the temps here, ranging from zero to 60°F within 48 hours, my sinuses are still going ballistic LOL... Ahh, spring must be here soon.

I keep 'em at 40 and 40, my friend. Ride is steady and smooth. Tried at 38 or 36, and didn't care for it, too soft.

burk - I hear ya - too soft is what made me change from the OEM tires while there was still about 4k threadlife on them - don't care for them, they felt soggy in the New England twisties ;)

40/40 for me too............although 42 for the rear is not a bad idea.

Metzlers wear best at maximum rated pressure. They may ride alittle firmer than people like but they will last longer at max. It appears Avon Venom's are the same.
