Gas Milage

Wondering what gas mileage people are getting from their Vaquero?
Last couple tanks I am getting about 220 km (137 Miles ) to a tank ,, is this normal? Any ideas why it would be so low ?

The cooler weather has a large effect on mileage, also try cleaning the throttle body, that usually helps as well.

I used to get about 240 kms on my Nomad before the fuel light would come on. Dont expect great mileage from a 1500, 1600 or 1700 Vulcan.
40mpg is about the norm, less if you gun it. Your bike is also barely broken in.

I rode 200 miles this sat. Mostly backroads with some diversions on the interstate (so we could stretch our legs a little) Normally ran 55-60 mph with a few stretches of 75-80 mph.

After fill up i showed 42 mpg. I'm pleased with that.

A tank of gas with all in town driving i get between 34-36mpg.

2010 Voyager

2 trips that I checked mileage (math, not lie-o-meter) both were two up and included some 75-80 mph interstate (~45%) and some 65 mph 2 lane (~45%) and a little in town (~10%). First trip ~37 mpg cold (mid 40s) and very windy, second trip 42.5 mpg warmer (60ish) and light wind. Second trip may have had more 2 lane.

In both cases the display was reading about 2 mpg more than I actually got.

Just got back from Daytona. Ran two tanks at 195 miles for right at 40mpg. One tank was Shell mid-grade and one tank Shell premium (so no real difference). Mostly interstate at 73 to 76 mph in 6th with my last 50 miles in 5th at 60 mph. On the way down we were running closer to 68 to 70 and I got better mileage in 5th but I was running regular in that tank and I was done at 180 miles. Like Blown32 my display read high at 41.7 mpg on one tank but trip mileage was dead on Google maps and the math was 40 mpg.
