Coyote Mod Issue

I am performing a version of the Coyote Mod on my '02 1500fi. I am using a 8.5 inch K&N filter and the issue I'm having is the boss for the air temp sensor interferes with the filter. Anyone ever run into this?

Yea, common pain in the arse so-to-speak....if your set on the caddmann setup, take off backing plate and modify it so it won't hit the filter....9" filter gives you more clearance....8 1/2" filters hit the air sensor....then do the other side. Remember, you have the coyote (carbed) setup and then theres the caddmann (carbed and FIs).
OR just order a custom air cleaner from Chucksters.....
