Snow in East Texas????

Quote:
Here is the snow cover map for the US as of about midnight last night 6Z. Looks like that band in Texas is moving east to get you.

BTW, Is that shed for the Nomad? Door looks a little narrow. Or, is it just your dog house, looks like a guy could spend some quality time in there!

Ells,
That's a 10X12 storage building I built several years ago. Store nothing but yard and misc stuff in it. I could make a shop out of it, but haven't run electricity to it yet. I keep my Nomad tucked away safe in the garage.

Snow in East Texas????

I'm leaving East Texas this weekend for a Caribbean cruise. Trip I would appreciate it if you get rid of this funny looking white stuff by the time I get back so I can ride. I didn't leave Wisconsin 22 years ago to put up with this!

I was snowing in Huntsville when I left for work this morning. It was about 44 degrees and nothing is sticking, but it was fun to see the flakes.
Yeah, seein' the flakes is a freekin' riot :( Try this sometime

Snow in East Texas????

Can't say I know what that looks like here! Last snowfall in the basin areas around the mountains was about 2" in 1932.

It's terrible!! They have no clue about driving in snow or ice. They think they can still drive 2 feet behind the person in front of them and stop on a dime!

That sounds just like most of the drivers in Atlanta, Georgia when it snows here. Having been born and raised in Michigan, when it does snow here, I just wait until all the idiots are stuck or have run out of gas trying to get up hills. Then it's clear sailing except when abandoned cars block the whole road!

I had a guy in a Vette pass me in Ga. in the snow in '79. Needless to say. he lost it and ran off road into rocks. He then got out and started kicking the car

Yeah, while you ol'boys in the South are getting snow we're getting ready to get whacked by a huge rainstorm. They are talking about up to 4" in a little over a 24 hour period. Supposed to start tonight. Ah Noah, where are you?

Well sure he is going to kick it. It's all the cars fault don't you know that. Damn thing is supposed to stay on the highway when it is a skating rink. ???

Snow in East Texas????

I'm sure that Nobel Prize, Oscar winner Savior and self made climatologist Uncle Al will be able to tie the coldest winter in recent history to global warming and CO2 emissions so that our economy can be hamstrung and the Chinese, Cubans and Mexicans can go after oil in the Gulf where we are not allowed. Somehow it is all our fault and he can explain it but it's okay for everyone else to go after it. I'm just sayin................
