Something new

As part of my ongoing quest to improve my overall health condition, I have started a new program at work. The building I work in is in a large business park with several man made lakes. I have started a personal goal of walking around the lake nearest my building at least twice per day. One lap around is 3/4 of a mile. Here is a photo from my recent stroll. My building is in the distance near the center of the pic.

I know that walking like the this is nothing to some people, but it's a big step for me. I had become somewhat sedentary in recent years.

Walking is great exercise CJ.
Keep up the good work. When we finally meet at a rally I can call you slim.

Way to go CJ. My hat goes off to you. Walking is a great form of exercise and it is free.

Good for you CJ. Just wondering where you're going to walk next Summer. Even I draw the line in the Summer. :)

So what are you going to do when it's 110 or above??? By the way, good luck on your walking.

I'd still walk it at 110°, although we won't see temps like that until next June.

Hopefully they all have been spayed Otherwise that place will be filled with the most Frankenstein looking creatures that can't ride a motorcycle worth a damn!!!!

Good.... I walk 1 mile every day with the dogs after they have dinner. I do plenty of other walking in the day too. I hope to have time and $$$ for winter camping again this year.

Thats great, keep it up. If your a few floors up in the building, use the stairs instead of the elevator, thats also really good exercise.
