Bought the enclosed trailer

I just ran across a very nice all steel motorcycle carrier trailer not far from home. It had 3 fixed wheel chocks. One in the center for carrying one cruiser, and one on each side for carrying 2 cruisers. It would probably carry 3 dirt bikes. Full width double fold down ramp, plenty of tie down loops on a slip resistant black diamond paint deck, spare 15" tire and wheel, and a large diamond plate aluminum tool box in the front. He's asking $1,500 OBO. I think I'll call him and offer him $1,000. He has an Ultra Classic parked under his carport. Wish I would have taken a picture with my cell phone to post. Sounds like a steal.

After going back and looking at it again, I took pictures and examined it more closely. The bi-fold ramp, fenders, tool box, deck plate, and chocks are alluminum. The frame is steel. I'm estimating the tounge weight empty to be about 60 lbs. What do y'all think?

Just remember "all steel" means heavy.

This is mine 6'4" X 10' with 2' steel sides 2x6 treated deck and a bi-fold gate $1800.
trailer empty weight is 940lbs.

Billmac's trailer is the perfect size for one bike and it could be used for my four wheeler during hunting season.

then weight isn't a problem, but weight is also beneficial ,the trailer won't bounce around as much. my .02

I just talked to the guy and he told me I could have it for $1,300. The steel frame is blasted and zinced, he had the aluminum diamond plate deck sprayed with Rhino liner. He wants me to come by Monday and hitch up to it and take it for a pull. Turns out we are old school buddies.

$1,300 sounds like a fair price to me Mitch. I don't have anything to pull it with and don't really need it as I ride everywhere I go.

The lights so you can load and unload in the dark are a nice touch.
