Mountain Riding in Washington State
Trip's quote (about riding in the mountains) at the end of his recent video really hit home. It inspired me to post these photos from a day ride we took last September with a group of about 15 bikes up to the summit at Washington's Mt. Baker.
I always give Taranis a hard time about posting photos from my area (he used to live and ride here, so he knows better than anyone)....but there is no mistaking how beautiful the Pacific NW is in the summer and early fall and no denying how enjoyable riding in this ultra-rich environment truly is. Here in the NW, we have oceans, mountains, rivers and deserts all easily within a days ride. Hwy 20 over the North Cascades in late summer is nothing short of spectacular! Pack an overnight bag for a day or two and your senses will be treated to a scenic feast fit for a King :) Here are just a few mountain photos to wet the appetite...enjoy... ;)
