Price tag is one thing, customer service is another.

We bought two Suzuki C50s one month apart from the same dealer. We even didn't get a pair of gloves.

And I traded in my C50 for a brand new Nomad and everyone here knows Nomad is a high caliber bike and not cheap. What did I get from the dealer? Nothing.

Trev Deeley does it in style. They offered me a Heritage for a day when they took my Nomad for trade-in inspection. Another time I got a Street Glide for my personal demo. All they say when they do that is "you have full tank of gas, go have fun".

100% agreed.

Be sure to take your bike to a parking lot and try doing tight slow-turns... you'll be amazed at how much easier it is on these things.

Enjoy!
I discovered that and am having a blast! I'm about 5' 7" and Electra fits me like a glove and she turns in to curves all by herself. If only I had several consecutive days off for a true maiden voyage. Unfortunately, I used up all my vacation for this year.

That Ultra will handle like a sportbike compared to the Nomad.

CJ, did you see any of the 110th Anniversary Editions in person? Kinda disappointed, H-D kept the 110 ci motor in the CVO family of bikes.

Maybe it's a good thing? I didn't have to wait another year and got a 103 ci Electra this year.

I was at Chester's HD in Mesa on Sunday and didn't look that closely. They did have a 2013 Ultra Limited in chrome yellow pearl/vivid black just as I walked in the door. That is one sharp looking bike.

Other than that, I walked through the showroom to motorclothes where I bought a new mesh jacket and then to the parts department to pickup the 2013 P&A catalog.

As far as them keeping the 110" for the CVO's, they need something to justify the $35,000 price tag.

When I bought mine, the 103" was only offered in a few bikes, like the Ultra Limited. In 2012, the 103" was the standard engine.

Glad you're having fun with the bike Elvis. don't forget that you could get some time on the bike this Sunday. If my heals up I think I'll be meeting Duff in Burlington and go in to the Oyster Run with him. Then meet up with Kris in Anacortes.

Just wishful thinking and expectation to celebrate the 110th. But they are putting on a good show in Milwaukee August 29 to September 1, 2013.

Nice bike Elvis, I like the color combo. Be prepared for people to slow down to the posted speed limit once they spot you in their rear view mirror though, especially if you have a matching white helmet.

Thanks, Norm.

As a matter of fact, I have a white helmet that I often use in the city.

Thanks for the comments and invite.

All Glides are really very nice bikes, I highly recommend taking one for a spin.

My dream is to ride kitty corner across the States and see Key West some day. And it would be logical to ride the Dragon on the way back.

I missed this thread. Congrats on the new bike! It looks nice. I wish my Vision came with security. It's something (aftermarket) I'll add this winter. Seems like alot of long time Nomad riders are trading to touring bikes these days. Nice looking!
