Heel Guard for 1600

Just curious what others have tried or are using to keep your right boot from frying on the pipe? I have not found anything specific for the Nomad so i know it would be a custom made item each guy makes himself. I have stock floorboards so wanting something to attach to them. just trying to get some ideas. Im getting tired of cleaning pipes. Thanks in advance. ;)

I don't know, I don't have this problem. I was cleaning my chrome just the other day and didn't see any burnt residue on them.

I might be wrong, but I think Gadget had something on his page that was both Cheap and East to attach. That should be right up your alley for what you seem to want to do. Might go check it out, couldn't hurt.

I dunno Doc, the way I heel toe the highway pegs and the board leaves my foot out there a good ways.. Leaves my toes even with the brake pedal and when i brake I just slip my toes over to the pedal and still leave my heel on the board..

I can't even go look under the board, since the snow is up over the trailers doors.

I don't hit the pipe with my boot either. What size boots you wear Doc? 13? 14? ;)
