Yep, mine's a whistler too. Lets me know she's happy.

Is this normal?

Never whistled but it will piss gas on the ground if you over fill it on a hot day.. Freaked me out the first time I found a puddle on the ground.

Is this normal?

Mine whistles quite a bit. The mechanic at the dealership says it is the fuel tank venting.
