I'm good with some nice, slow, gentle cruising. I find the older I get the more I value life (mine and others). Anything without wings (or dedicated to racing) going that fast is bound to hurt if you so much as sneeze wrong. There's just no time to react. Doesn't matter much to me if anyone else goes that fast but I'm not gonna. Been left behind on a couple rides by those who want to get "there" (wherever that is) twice as fast. Good for them. I generally maintain between 5-10 over the limit.

That's generally my rule too. I just had a "Wild hair" to see where the Max point was.

Actually, horsepower might be cheaper. What's the hottest sport bike go for? $16K? That's 177HP at the rear wheel. Then again, the Rocket III is in the same neighborhood price wise, but the Goldwing and K1600 are a lot more.
