Fairing brackets
Hi everyone,
I am looking for another place to find brackets to mount a reconditioned Harley fairing to my 06 Nomad. I say "another place to find" because I have emailed Lee Sido at Vulcan Brackets http://vulcanbrackets.com/Home_Page.html but have never received a response. :-/ I hope there is another means to getting them. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers ! be safe

Fairing brackets
I've had the same problem, I've sent 3-4 e-mails and nothing, all I have is a photo of what there suppose to look like. Maybe I'll make my own? Send me a PM if you have any luck and I'll do the same.

Thanks J.J. ......I will do. Since you're having the same issue with him, I think I might give him a phone call tomorrow then. I'll let you know how that turns out.
Rick

Misunderstood,
I didn't get an answer from the number on the "Vulcan Brackets" web site. Maybe at work or something. I'm conversing with J.J. by PM so as not to tie up this thread. When I have some news I'll get back here and post it. J.J. might have another line on some brackets ..... I don't know yet.

OK thanks. The fairing I got probably won't work as I thought, but I'll be getting another as soon as I can and will need some brackets. Appreciate seeing what you 2 turn up.

Fairing brackets
Hey "misunderstood",
J.J. gave me two site's. One that has both the fairing " radio caddy" and the brackets http://www.allservicesales.com/radio_caddy_fairing.html and this one...http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....G1KR7070133605 0f~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50000123a I'm not sure that link will get you there. But here is the home page, http://www.jirehcycles.com/ the part number is part # 13-90 The first site is more money for the fairing and the windshield is extra. Then you have the brackets {that you'd need no matter what} on top of that. The second web site is cheaper for the fairing and includes a windshield. No brackets available there though. So I'll be ordering the fairing from the cheaper place and the brackets from the other web site. Really a no brainer. ;) Good luck ! I might get going on this sooner than later, seeing that the cost isn't the $1400. - $1500. I expected. Be sure to let me know when you or if you get this proj. done. I'd like to see it. I'll be doing the same. Cheers Rickyboy

Fairing brackets
I like you're idea, but may let you test the water. Are you sure they're compatable? The barcket from one with the fairing from the other? If so, that's a great deal

I think they would be compatible, because it looks like the same
"radio caddy" on both sites. But I hear you.

Take a look on the VROC forum for the fairing brackets, Lee posts there every couple days, If you do a search there you should find him.
