Are you going to the MWGRR rally in Boscobel this year?
We'll see. I have neck surgery next month. I have to get three levels fused. I have no idea how it will affect me afterwards, but at the ver least I know I won't be riding for 3-4 months.

Fly, welcome aboard from New Brunswick, Canada. I started off riding about 3 years ago buying a 900 Classic LT as my first bike. This summer when I decided to trade it came down to the Concours and the Nomad. As much as I liked the Concours I thought it was too much of a bike for a novice rider so I went with the Nomad. It has been a great bike so far. Ride safe!!

I've also been laid up the last two months with a bad left shoulder, fell and disjointed the shoulder and chipped a couple of bones. Doing a lot of physical therapy to get full movement back, getting better daily. Bad part is that I missed a lot of good riding weather and there doesn't look like any coming till next year.

So I can relate to your problem, and my best wishes for a full recovery. Not that I know anything about it, but other than perhaps a bit of loss of side to side motion, there may not be much difference. I hope not, and hope to see you there in June.

I really don't like the new Concours either, I've got the older 997cc one, it's only got 108 HP. You can't go wrong with any of the Nomads, I've owned two and enjoyed ever mile on them.
