I haven't been feeling all that great these past couple of days so at this point I am not 100% certain that I can do the whole ride (NY+VT). It is actually good that weather will be lousy Saturday. This will give me a chance to rest up. I should know better Saturday afternoon if I am up for the full ride. At minimum I would still do Bub's.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling that great Martin. You will after the surgery. I'll check the forum from time to time. Better to txt me though if any plans are changing so i can let Laura know who might be bringing someone.

Have a good lunch at Bub's. I know once Martin can eat fried foods again he'll be trying some of their fried menu items.

I will try the alligator tail at some point.

Feeling better today, which is good, so I should be good to go tomorrow. We are still meeting @ 11:30, right?

I was going to clean my bike today and install the headlight visor but is't way too hot now. Maybe I will try it later once the storms roll in and temps cool down.

The only reason I did as much as I did was the wife was away visiting my daughter in NYC. I'm waiting on a mouse button to put my son's laptop back together. Figured This would be a good time to get the oil changed and get them bugs off. N,ever know Laura has her guy magnet ridley maybe some blond wearing a leather body suit on a soft tail would walk over to mine and say that's one hot looking ride.

Save your energy Martin 300 miles tomorrow

I tried some new things today. I had this M A A S metal polish laying around. Usually I use autosol on the chrome which works really well. This stuff those I think works better. A deeper shine to the chrome and worked very well on the master cylinders and the fork tubes. This stuff could be my new favorite. I also used turtle wax ice on the fenders and tank which i think also brought out a deeper shine.

Just got back home. This was by far the best ride we as a group had done. Sorry Neil that you missed. The views on RT2 out past North Adams, RT 22 in New York and RT 7/9 in VT were spectacular. I would definitely do this ride again. Evan and Laura, thanks for the company. It was excellent as usual.

Total miles for me -- 270.

BTW, that was the best cup of coffee I've had in a very long time.

Indeed it was the best ride of the season. Nice and cool the bike ran great. I'm glad you opted in for Rt.2 into NY to 22 to 7 and rt.9 into VT 3 states 274 miles. Besides lunch at Bub's and 1 fuel stop we made 1 other stop for coffee. Got the wife coconut cream coffee which is will enjoy. Hence only 2 pics the rest of the sights were on the ride. I agree Martin we need to do this ride again especially being able to cut the time down home. Neil I hope you enjoyed your ride with Joe you should think about coming on this ride next time we go. Laura was so thankful I talked her into coming. As of last night she was going to pass. That ride from Rt.116 all the way into Bennington was just great. It was like we had the whole rout to ourselves.

Glad you guys had a good time. Maybe next year for me on that ride. I have the ride to Sweet Evalina's next week and then New Hampshire Rt. 112 after that for my foliage ride.
