Thats awesome. Some of us would like to do those things but cicumstances
do not always allow it. Its great to see the trips others get to do.

That is our routine also but for our "pilgrimage" we camped, mostly at KOAs. We probably stayed at motels 2 or 3 nights only.

Nice pictures Elvis!! Some of them sure bring back some great memories. We've stood in some of the same places, in front of some of the same signs and landmarks.

Awesome photos....brings back a lot of memories as I have ridden through many of those same places. So many roads....so little time. I can't wait for summer as I have two seperate week-long rides planned. Both to VBA rallies don't ya know....!

I have been to Sturgis, some great riding Came down from Medicine Hat- Sturgis and back up to Grande Parrie and then to British Columbia

I guess we spent about 3 weeks on that trip. We had a different strategy though: Our main point of interest was the Black Hills, Sturgis and the surrounding area so therefore we took about a week to get to the area then explored the Black Hills for about another week using Deadwood and Custer as base camps and finally took another week to get back home.

We really liked this kind of road trip because it minimized the number of campsites and allowed us to explore the area much more... And one can never run out of riding routes in the Black Hills. It was fantastic there, we covered all of the recommended rides, see the map:
