I don't think it matters much, but Id start with the coasters first then the pc3 and finish with the intake. You should have the tank off the bike so its easier to get at the injectors and wires.

Thanks - I figured on taking the tank off, I need to see what's under there anyway and get familiar. I'll probably swap the coolant and put a new hose on in a few weeks.

I know on my zx10 even after removing the gas tank putting the pc3 on was tight as heck.

Chicken or Egg?

You've got to have an egg to have a chicken but then again you have to have a chicken to have an egg. Never did figure out which came first.

Once the tank is off getting at the injectors is easy on the Vulcans, and once the plumbing is out of the way when you install the coasters youll have even more room to work in.

Agreed, this bike has more space and is by far the easiest to work on compared to any other I've had.

I thought it was determined the egg shell has a chemical that only comes from a chicken......so you can't have the egg without the chicken first?

Chicken or Egg?

Why not do both (coasters and intake) at the same time?

That's what I did. I started with the coasters and I think it made the rest of the install a breeze.
