2017 vaquero

A look at the coming 2017 Vaquero. I like the color with the graphics on this one.

I've seen the white one, too. they look nice. I just don't like the black on the louvers and headlight shroud. It just doesn't fit, in my opinion.

I know with those louvres I was going to paint mine black to contrast the candy lime green but decided to keep them matching...besides, not worth taking the entire fairing off the bike just to do it.

just needs black mirrors, exhaust and bars to look killer. Pretty much same as 16's just different color, or did Kawi make some non appearance changes as well?

The Cardinal red color is very rich and the stripe detail is a good complement. It draws the attention of the eye almost as well as candy lime with ghost flames.

Looks like the same graphics as the 2016 model only with the deep red color....good call on the part of the factory and a great thing to see that Kawasaki is keeping both the Vaquero and Voyager in the line-up mostly unchanged. On the Vaquero I like seeing the blacked-out bits as was the original intention back in 2011.

Interesting pricing on the graphics. I would have thought the body graphics would be more expensive. When I got my bike, the 6 speed decal was worn a bit. After seeing the price on that one, it's gonna stay that way.

You find it a good thing that Kawasaki is not making any improvements, or that they are at least keeping two of the 5 1700cc offerings?

Yes the only 1700 cc models for 2017 will be the Vaquero and Voyager. The Vaquero is still priced at 16,799.00
